[corrected] Still Flaming after all these years! Well we had a flaming July where it rained for weeks, it's now September and the summer has been non-existent. This mix was done in honour of a good friends 40th birthday, hopefully he's still a good enough mover to shake his hips at 40! A few of the tracks on here went down fantastically at Brighton Pride, so they made the cut. A few more are favourites of the moment. Hopefully one or two more will be new to your ears, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Once again, no computer jiggery pokery or mixing software was used in the making of this podcast. It was played live, from the cd's and recorded straight to disk.

Flaming July

Flaming July - Well what can I say...? Wimbledon and Silverstone kicked off the month and brought the usual downpours as well as some excitement. So here I am on a wet Wednesday, it's been pouring down all day and I figured I might as well put together another set of tunes for the faithful. Unfortunately my new mixer has decided to drop a channel, which means it's back to the old faithful mixer to bring you this collection. A little bit of funky electro, a new mix of a timeless classic, something I re-edited myself, a bit of funky house and hopefully something for every one. Enjoy! As usual, no computer jiggery pokery or mixing software was used in the making of this podcast. It was played live, from the cd's and recorded straight to disk.

Yellow Fields

This mix gained its title, because spring has finally sprung, summer is upon us and the the view from the window where I do my mixing is one of nature's delights........ Yellow fields! This time the mix starts with a more 'Electro' vibe, but still remains funky, and then gets right back down to some of that favourite, sing-a-long, hands in the air stuff that you all love (and I do too). Look out for 'Electrica Salsa' by 'Off'. This track is 20 years old, but sounds so fresh and completely in tune with todays electro dance music. Maybe I should have just kept my mouth shut and remix it myself. Perhaps I will! A big shout out to my mate Steve Pitron, whose first commercial release mix of Danni Minogue I Ihave included as my first track. Good on you mate - for the unitiated, Steve is a Crash resident, and a kick ass DJ on the London scene and when he's on form I have NEVER seen anyone work a floor like he can. I wish him all the success inthe world. Enjoy!
